Animating the Inanimate

Writing for live performance with object-based technology

Raucous Exchanges - Session 1
Thursday 24 June (4-6.15pm UK time)

An exploration into how objects can play a pivotal role in narrative build and audience interaction. How do we use technology-driven objects that through their physical reaction to the place and the story heighten the experience for those in the space? How can reactive objects underscore dramatic moments and provide a sense of personalisation – as if the world sees and recognises each individual audience member?

This session will be led by Raucous’ Creative Director, Sharon Clark and digital technologist, interaction design and product designer, Tom Metcalfe.
